I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at TikTok
Interview
I did 2 rounds, and it was overall a relatively standard experience. One interview with the team lead and one with the hiring manager. Both very friendly and very prompt, and they were happy to answer all questions and go over the time limit which I greatly appreciated.
Questions varied a lot, competency and motivational aplenty as expected for an internship but also an out of the blue case study which thankfully wasn't too difficult.
TikTok is still young so it's expected for them not to be overly organised (and they are clearly making an effort) but communication with candidates during the process wasn't great. Hopefully that can improve.
45 minutes 2 rounds. Could vary depending on teams and positions. The interviewer is nice and warm, is my line manager. We have great communication. The second round is her peers.
easy simple nothing crazy all okay, i was happy with it and i dint have issues in anyway. i think they want someone else though not necessary someone like me which is ok
The interview process was straightforward, The questions asked both pertained to past experiences as well as technical skills related to the role. The interviewer however seemed a bit impatient and wanted to get through the questions quickly
