Contacted by PRC HR by email. 1st interview with PRC. Was asked some generic management strategies and skills. Converstion in mandarin. Next day received invite to 2nd interview with another PRC. That was more tech session with simple questions which I answered swiftly. Converstion in mandarin too. Following week received invite to 3rd interview which i actully wanted to decline because my gut sense told me this is just a SOP interview that tiktok isn't sincere on hiring local talent. Well, they are pretty good actors trying to act cool and chill during interview. 3rd interview with another PRC conversed in mandarin too. Again few generic questions about expereinces and mgmt skills. Then the HR and whole tiktok just missing in the air. Completely different attitude when they try to lure candidate to full up the local quota. Advise to local talented from singapore. Entertain tiktok if you have spare time (do not apply leve to just attend interview, do not even need to prepare anything) and do not put high expectations in getting hired. I strongly believed that they have already got the PRC candidate to fill the position and spend their luxury time in mass interviewing local candidtes and fail them.
