The process took 2 months. I interviewed at TikTok in Jan 2022
Interview
Probably the worst interview experience ever. The whole interview process was smooth and quick. BUT I waited more than 1 month to have an update even though I sent email to get any feedback or information during the interview process. When the recruiter finally reach out to me she said that I didn’t the job because the job expectations changed during the process without telling me first. I find it so disrespectful, especially that I couldn't even defend myself properly since their decision was already made. I’m still very disappointed because I got on very well with the whole team and they all told me that I had a good profile…

Question 1
Tell me about yourself..
Why do you want to work at TikTok
Kind of weird as the HR was late, didn't apologise and kept the interview for over an hour for very detailed business questions. This is weird because normally HR round is only for preliminary questions. What's more, she kept pressuring and asking who was my previous manager, and even asked me to think about it and write her an email to tell her that name. Isn't that supposed to be confidential ? I find the whole interview process quite weird.
I met with a someone from hr and the team leader. These meetings might have been separate rounds, or both of them might have been present at the same time - I don't recall the specifics. The interview was conducted online and lasted about 30 minutes.
