It was really odd. They rejected my application within 24 hours but contacted me a few weeks later asking if I was still interested in the position. The recruiter initially told me that the interview process would be really quick and I would hear back pretty fast. It was true until I made it to the interview round with the hiring manager based in China. During the interview she said that speaking in Chinese would help me 加分, so I did. I also found out during the interview that the job scope was kind of different from what was written in the job description. After that round of interview, I didn’t hear back for about 2 weeks so I reached out to the recruiter, and she told me they were no longer hiring for the position due to change in business requirements. It was quite disappointing as they didn’t even let me know until I asked. Ever since that experience and with another friend telling me not to apply to this company, I’ve not been looking into their positions anymore. Overall I felt that the whole interview process was odd.

4 round interviews: 1. with HR: going through the basic backgrounds 2. with line manager: going through the detailed work related and skills questions 3. with global reporting lead: going through more wider business understanding 4, with HR BP

1st interview with recruiter 2nd interview with accounting manager 3rd interview with accounting director Several questions specificly about accounting principles. All on zoom. Entire process took about 2 weeks. Had interview with recruit then manager back to back days.
