Telephone screening, followed by 4 zoom interviews with mostly global HR leaders. After hours of time invested over several weeks, I got a call from recruiter to say the panel I met gave me good feedback, think I’d be a good fit, and had no feedback about what I could have done better. I didn’t get the job as they said someone else with the department specific experience was successful, and stressed that they only got the offer as they had that advantage and recruiter themselves said nothing I can do about that, unless I get a role supporting in that business unit. All of that garbage and made up feedback, and the very next day I see the job advert reposted for the same position, and same business area. I don’t understand why recruiters aren’t good enough at their jobs to give honest and direct feedback. They all let themselves and the HR profession down.
