I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at TikTok (London, England) in Jul 2022
Interview
4 stages in total, I progressed through 3.
None of the stages matched up to what was described in their interview guide/ advise from the recruiters so I felt I did a lot of unnecessary prep.
After the first two stages I heard back within 2 days that the recruitment team had received positive feedback and were progressing me to the next stage.
After the third stage I didn't hear for over a week and chased up. I received a generic email the following week to say 'after careful consideration, we regret to tell you that we will not be progressing your application for this role.'
I had to actively request feedback and what I received was very poor and surely something that they were able to identify from my CV if not interview 1 - 'decision was based on comparison to other candidates, with experience more closely aligned to our requirements'
Pretty much typical behavior interview, asked hardest challenges you’ve solved as a manager or leader position. Should also prepare of why tiktok answer and also long term plan for your company career

Interview process was interesting as the team followed up to speak with me, indicated I would be speaking with the hiring manager during my screening interview and then ghosted shortly thereafter.
