Worst interview experience if I may say. I have passed all stages of interview and already received verbal offer. The team in charge on the final interview told me that I'd be receiving an email for negotiating the salary, compensation, etc. After I provide this all the necessary information, they will provide me an official letter so I can review and sign.
However, it's been more than a month yet I never received the email they were told me before. I proactively follow up and they said due to internal headcount review, they need to get back to me regarding the negotiation phase. Kinda odd because they are actually actively hiring for this position on a jobsearch platform and promote this position for almost every day (even up until I wrote this review).
Then the worst thing happened. After more than a month of waiting, I was finally told by the hiring team that the position has been closed so they are unable to proceed with my candidancy moving forward.
Such a waste of time and energy. I think this company should relook more on its dreadful and time consuming hiring process and if they think the person is suitable, why don't just extend for an offer directly or if not suitable, why don't just let them know right away instead of keep them waiting for months.
However, I would say that the team in charge during the interview were very nice to me and able to address all my concerns. A plus point but yes, still need to relook the hiring process.
Timeline:
1st - Screening Call around end of July 2022
2nd - User Interview at the beginning of Aug 2022
3rd - Final HR interview - around 2 or 3 days after the user interview
4th - Should be negotiation and final offering phase, but I didn't pass through this
The interview process only took 2 weeks, but the decision making process took more than a month lol.
