[Contract] Process was long. Two rounds in addition to the initial phone screen with the recruiter. Uses proprietary technology for scheduling which has some bug. RC just scheduled interviews without confirming availability.
First was a recruiter call. Online video interview with peers and hiring managers. Behavioral interviews mostly combined with some situational questions. The process took a long time. Moving slowly. The recruit coordinate often disappeared.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How do you prioritize tasks? Describe a situation that you need to dig out the cause?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at TikTok (San Bernardino, CA) in Mar 2023
Interview
My first interview was a short 10 minute phone interview and the Sourcer called me 30 mins before the scheduled interview time. My second interview was with a very Junior recruiter who was late to the interview. Felt very chaotic, wasn't engaging and asked me to show them how I source on the spot. Had 30 seconds to review the JD and find 3 candidates using regular LinkedIn. Somehow made it to the next round. The last round was with a "Hiring Manager" who had 2 years total recruiting experience (I have 10). Cancelled the interview 10 minutes before it was scheduled. Rescheduled for another week out. Finally when it came time to the interview, the interviewer was late. Was not engaging, didn't seem interested in any of my answers and rushed through the interview.
