I received an e-mail asking me to sign up for a virtual interview time. I ended up selecting the second earliest available time. I left work early to be in a quiet place for the interview only to be told via email 30 mins before the interview that they had offered the position to the candidate they interviewed before me and that the person had accepted. I felt it was disrespectful of my time to schedule an interview and then cancel it with such short notice. If you had multiple candidates scheduled for the same day why not interview them all before making an offer?
