The overall interview process was very smooth and well-organized, thanks to the Talent Acquisition team, they were fast to respond and very pleasant to communicate with.
The process consisted of several stages:
1. An initial screening call
2. A technical interview with a relatively simple LeetCode-style problem
3. A final round including two technical interviews and two behavioral interviews with the Engineering Manager and Project Manager
Everything went well overall. The interviewers were professional and the structure was clear. However, I did face some difficulty during the second technical interview of the final round, it was hard to understand the interviewer’s English, and we ended up spending about 30 minutes debating a semantic aspect of my code, which felt a bit unproductive.
That said, the rest of the experience was positive and respectful, and I appreciated the opportunity to go through their process.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
In the first technical round, I was asked a LeetCode-style problem:
“Given an array representing stock prices on each day, find the best time to buy and sell to maximize profit.”
3 technical rounds of easy/medium LC questions and 1 system design round. Pretty average interview experience for a non-big tech company (expect to write all your own test cases + heavy AI usage from interviewers setting up questions and testing edge cases).
Leetcode style 1 hr technical along with 1 hr behavioral with pretty standard questions. Interviewers were both really nice and hardest part of technical were the follow-up questions but the interviewer was very helpful.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Toast Inc (Dublin, Dublin) in Apr 2026
Interview
I scheduled a first round technical interview. Recruiter emailed 2 days later saying position filled. Very disappointing. Phone screen was good descriptive and helpful. Shoukd of flagged rolling hiring. Was for junior engineer role.
