Interview
It was a great process. It consists of the following steps: initial screening, offline coding test, technical call, test week (which they pay for), final call. If you pass, you get an offer. It didn't take long.

Question 1
I do not feel comfortable sharing the questions. It's nothing like leetcode or anything tricky like that, it's just a simple API application, nothing major. Anyone coding for a while will be able to do it.

- Technical test when you apply for the job on their website. - Interview with recruiter - Take home programming assignment - Technical interview with a team member - Test week working with the company - Final interview with engineering manager
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The first test is comprised of basic technical questions regarding OS, databases and programming in general. The HR interview is a friendly chat about the position where you get the usual questions about your background and also have the opportunity to ask questions about the company and the position. The take home assignment is a programming project you have 1 week to complete. Usually, you're asked to build an API following some simple requirements. The technical interview is more oriented to details about your take home assignment, you have the chance to explain your thought process and how/why you implemented things the way you did. The test week is a paid full week working with the company, where you get to work on real tasks and get to know the people you might be working with in the future. The final interview is more oriented towards your past experiences and how/where you could fit into Toggl in case you get an offer.
