I applied online. I interviewed at Toggl in Jan 2021
Interview
I applied straight from the website, without any recommendations or workarounds. Passed the pre-screening test with 100% score and had the invitation to proceed to the next stage which is live coding.
The interviewer was very friendly, and after first minutes of conversation I felt relaxed and passed the coding challenge with no much worries.
Next was the test week, which is mostly fixing some bugs. Considering the volume and difficulty of the codebase, test-weekers don't get something complex, and the front-end team was there to answer my questions in Slack.
The last part is an interview with the Engineering Lead, which is mostly getting to know each other and clarifying the remaining questions.
In total, the interview lasts around a month, but it is definitely worth it!
