I applied online. I interviewed at Tokio Marine HCC in Jun 2020
Interview
The first 2 interviews (phone & video conference) were conducted appropriately and great communication of next steps (actual person leaving role). The talent acquisition specialist was horrible. "Older" man that said the most inappropriate things to me. Later scheduled 2 additional video conferences. The first one he participated along with 2 other Directors. He had difficulty (using technology) and I am not sure why he was on the call. I was then advanced to the next round of interviews. About 2 - 3 weeks later the Talent Acquisition Specialist (same older man) called me and stated: "You probably should keep looking for a job, we are going to keep looking and we probably won't come back to you." The tone and matter of fact demeanor of this guy was horrible, but I forgot the first day he call me he stated: "You have to go through some more interviews because we don't just hire anyone into our company". I advanced through 4 interviews ( I must have been pretty good), this guy must have gotten his job because of who he knows because he doesn't have the competencies to execute the job they have him doing. Unprofessional communication which leads me to wonder was the selection process equitable and fair.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Tokio Marine HCC in Nov 2023
