      Property Manager Interview

      Mar 2, 2014
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Toll Brothers in Jan 2014

      Interview

I received an email reply to my resume submission (no call), Since the ad did not specify salary or community size I emailed back with the question about salary range. No reply. I went for the in-person interview anyway if for no other reason it was good practice. I was asked to sit and complete a paper application (this could have been sent to me to complete and bring with me). I then sat and waited for 15 minutes. Finally I was brought back into a conference room with 3 people: a Regional Manager (who was not the person who had emailed me), a Marketing person (the woman who emailed me) and someone else who I still am not sure who she was. The community turned out to be very small and paying far less than I am accustomed to making. If they had specified in the ad or responded to my email we would not have wasted our time.

      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Toll Brothers (New York, NY) in Dec 2018

      Interview

The entire process was long and arduous. The recruiter was unresponsive and went as far as confirming the date/time of the interview the morning of. The actual interviewer was not prepared. Overall, this was a poor display of how business us done with Toll Brothers.

      Property Manager Interview

      Jan 30, 2015
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      No offer
      Easy interview

      Application

      I interviewed at Toll Brothers

      Interview

The recruiters are very dedicated to finding what they think are the best of the best. They only want top quality candidates and are willing to steal from anyone to get them. The problem is that they are very disorganized in their interview process. From start to end it can take over a month with multiple interviews. My suggestion would be for the company to act quickly when they find someone they like. Death by interview culls out a lot of the best candidates for the position because they begin to feel like you are wasting their time. In the end the recruiters will only end up with people who are second best.

      Question 1

No specifics in this area as the interview format is pretty casual and not well structured.
