Toptal limit what you can share about the process, but I think there are a few things I can say. The online test is quite tough because there are alot of questions to get through; I'd suggest freshening up on Product frameworks and agile methodology so that you don't get caught out. The final project (which you get assigned if you pass the second interview) is time-consuming and you have a limited amount of time to complete it- so just bear this in mind when scheduling your first interview.
I had an interview with a recruiter as part of the hiring process. The conversation included specific questions related to the role and my previous experience. The interview was structured and focused on assessing my fit for the position and understanding my background in similar tasks.

to walk through my entire design process live, from understanding the problem to delivering a solution for a specific case
The process was very comprehensive, and the interviewers were very good at what they were doing. The first phase is quite easy, but when it comes to the later stages that's where the weeding comes out. Overall a challenging interview.
Recruiter kept me well informed throughout the process. They also provided documents about the company and benefits which was appreciative. You’re also expected to take an assessment during the process.
