I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Toys "R" Us
Interview
After having my resume selected, I was called for an in person group interview. There were a bunch of hopefuls there with two employees asking questions about various things. Like how you'd sell a specific toy, how you'd react to a specific rude customer complaint, and so on. Really boilerplate stuff.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would you try and sell (insert new toy here)? How would you sell that toy to another demographic?
Super nice and friendly interviewer. They told me about the company and the position and asked a few questions. They also let me ask some questions at the end as well
Geoffrey was attentive and kind. Guided me through the whole catalog. Would recommend him all the time, every time to whomever will listen. He took the time to explain the great deals.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Toys "R" Us (London, England)
Interview
Standard interview with competency questions, especially communication skills, and gauging if candidate would be a good fit for the company culture. After the interview received a call within 2 weeks.
