I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Toys "R" Us (London, England) in Oct 2012
Interview
Group interview, there you are given an item and a minute to look at it before trying to sell it to the interviewers. There is also an exercise where you are given a topic and you have to talk about it for a minute. Some getting to know each other exercises to see how you get on with others. If your successful a one on one interview immediately follows.
The manager is very kind and helpful if you are nerve wreck . If you are a shy person you have nothing to worry about , the process is not difficult at all
A very basic interview lasting under 30 minutes. It was very informal, I was asked about my previous experience and my flexibility of working hours and my role was briefly outlined.
One- Day interview with a mix of a Group Interview, Math Questions and finding differences between photos to see how observant you are and where to place you in store.
