I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Toys "R" Us in Oct 2015
Interview
We were all brought into a break room where we first played the name game to break the ice. The manager from Babies R Us was there watching over the interview also. After that we were put into groups and built a toy out of mega blocks, we then had to present the toy to the managers. After that we picked a toy from the store and had to sell that to the managers also. They then let go of one person (there were 4 of us) and we waited to be interviewed one on one. At that interview we were asked a series of situational questions. The babies r us manger liked me so wanted me at their store. I'm now waiting for a phone call.
Team interview, relatively simple and pretty fun. Was followed by a quick in person interview. After season a handful were offered full time positions while others were told thank you.

Make a new toy with these LEGO’s and try to sell it
Smooth and very friendly. You can say that it was a fun interview, at first with the human resources manager and the second was with the store manager also. They were both really friendly and it felt like having a normal conversation. I loved working for TRU
