Whenever I am looking for a job it’s easier to get my name and voice out when I come to the store or place in person so I went to my local Trader Joe’s and asked for an application filled it out returned it a few days later and they told me they weren’t looking for people under age but about 4-5 days later I got a call for an interview with them it went good I would say write down some answers and repeat them. I am on my second interview that’s why I said I didn’t get the job because I won’t know until after a few days.

They asked me about my self, what parts of me would work well at Trader Joe’s a lot of questions about my old job how did I like it what did I do, They also asked about what my favorite item at the store was and why. Also what I like most about the company and about some background on it or what I know about Trader Joe’s.
Super easy just be yourself and know the products and you will pass with flying colors. Make sure you are available to work weekends, they usually prefer people to close which can be annoying.
two interviews one with mate then one on another day with the captain - basically the same questions at both and the typical questions you would expect strengths/weaknesses, what makes you a good employee, what makes you like an employer
It was quick and seamless and they let me know in ample time. It was a painless process and the crew was quick to give honest opinions about working there. The Captain changed but at the time turnover wasn't high.
