Interview
Interview was pretty relaxed, I felt very comfortable. I got called for a first interview after applying in person, and then I got call for a second interview the same day as my first. It truly was very easy going, they really just make it fun. We sat on wine boxes, very causal and they just chatted with me. They like unique people who can have fun, and that is really what they look for in someone applying. Professionalism isn't something that is necessarily needed for this job!

Why Trader Joes? If I could have any super power what would it be? Describe a meal made with all Trader Joes products?
Applied online and had one in person interview with the captain. It lasted maybe 10 minutes. Got a call a week or so later that I got the job. Very fast process.
It's two to three interviews, the final with the Captain (or highest manager) of the store. The interviews are largely to get to know your personality and how well you would do at customer service.
The interview process was absolutely wonderful! I didn't feel stressed or nervous and it felt like I was just chatting with a friend! Trader Joes is a great company and the interview was great.
