The actual application and getting an interview scheduled was pretty easy, but getting them to follow up was not. They told me to expect a call within a few days to schedule a second interview. After 5 days I called them to ask for an update and was told to wait a few more days. When I called them back a second time, they told me that I was sent an email rejecting me even before the first time I called back, but I never received that email. I had received an email from them originally confirming the application, so I know they had the correct address.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Trader Joe's (Bloomington, MN) in Jul 2026
Interview
Two interviews. Both were enjoyable and I could tell they care about the employees well being. I was very comfortable with the interviewing style.
I returned for a second interview a week later and was offered the job.
pretty good, asked a lot of questions, nice people, I have been a shopper with trader joes, the people are helpful, and I have done a lot of work in customer services, and I believe I will be a great fit at trader joes.
1 phone call, two in person, never got the job. Short and simple interview, the third one was long but it was just the employee yapping about the job and what they do. Pretty lame considering they already knew they weren’t going to hire me. Said they were gonna call me and never did. Just call and say that you don’t wanna hire me and move on, how hard is that?
