Basic Interview. Fill out the application online, Run your computer check, a week later get an e-mail setting up first interview. Scheduled first interview, and then they would email me for 2nd if I got selected. Had second interview on the phone. The interviewer asked if there was any time you were not available, I said Saturday mornings, since I have to watch kids. She didn't say that would be a problem at all. Basic questions on how to deal with an angry customer, etc. Nothing hard at all.
4 hours after completing interview, got an email saying 'you are not a match'. Found out by searching online that if you are not available 24x7, 365 days a year, they won't consider you. Not unhappy I was turned down. $9.50 an hour for a stressful job, vs. the $10.00+ you can get at the local walmart is pretty much a no brainer. I was going to say $9.50 wasn't enough, but I knew from past experience if you answer NO to that question, you are automatically blacklisted. They hire the bottom of the barrel, and considering 75% of their support positions are in the phillipines, where they pay the equivlant of $1.25/hour, it's surprising they hire any americans at all.
