I was first contacted by a headhunter, who described the opportunity. I then interviewed with the Regional CEO. We discussed the importance of the role to the overall growth of the company; discussed the team I would be leading and the challenges they faced. We discussed key expectations and management cadence and process review. I then interviewed with the VP for HR. In that interview we discussed the performance metrics, the performance expectations and the culture of previous employers. We also discussed the company culture I could expect to experiance. I then met with the regional CFO: He discussed my previous experience and key contributions. We also discussed the challenges he previously faced with my predecessor and team.
