The process started out with a phone interview with HR. I was asked about my experience, behavioral and work related interview questions, as well as any upcoming vacation I had planned, and salary expectations. It was about 10 minutes, and was a professional and positive. About 2-3 weeks later I had my first interview which was with the (2) underwriting managers which oversee the commercial department. We went over my resume, behavioral and work related interview questions, as well as skill assessment questions relating to the position. The interview was just over an hour, and it was professional and positive. I than had a second interview within about 2 weeks after the first face to face interview, it was with the Head of Underwriting. It was a very similar interview, however a lot of the questions were more focused on the insurance industry as a whole, commercial lines products, travelers products, and well as some behavioral questions. It was about the same amount of time, and again was professional and positive. I was than sent an offer which I accepted. The offer was very good, there wasn't a lot of negotiating which took place. I accepted, and they proceeded with a background check. The background check took about 2 weeks to be completed.
