I applied online. I interviewed at Travelers (Richardson, TX) in Dec 2023
Interview
I thought the Interview Process was highly unprofessional. I had a phone screen with a recruiter and she stated that the role was actually not a hybrid remote role and that after 6 months, you might be eligible for hybrid. The job listing on Indeed was labeled as a hybrid remote role and that's why I applied since I have a disability and hybrid remote roles is what works for me. She asked me to explain all of the gaps in my resume. One of my gaps is due to a severe disability that I have. When I stated my gap was due to a disability there was silence and I could tell that the interview process got grim after that. This is an entry level job, previous gaps shouldn't be a question or even matter, especially if it's due to disabilities. My disability does not erase any of my previous work experience and education. I've had a lot of job interviews and I can say that the one with Traveler's was the most intrusive and judgmental. I'm honestly glad that I didn't get a second interview because of the misleading job post and recruiter seemed displeased when I stated I have a disability.

The first interview provided a lot of valuable information about the position and company. During the second interview, I gained deeper insights into the organization and appreciated the opportunity to meet the division manager.

Interview
I got an interview setup with a recruiter who broke up a 40 minute call into 2 sections. 1st half was for going over the role and actually asking YOU what do you know about travelers and why are you interested in the position? She also went over my resume with me and asked for highlights/summaries of what I did and why I left. The second half of the role was the infamous behavioral interview. which was okay, I'll put the questions down below
