      Showed up to a hotel in LA and got interviewed. Simple questions nothing to worry about. And there was no dress code, so you saw people dressed up and some not. It really does not affect your chances from what I see.

      Seafood food processing is a physically demanding, involves long hours, a cold weather( condition) , wet environment, and repetitive work . Remember that there are no guaranteed work hours. When fish is available you will be required to be ready and willing to work as directed

      I applied through a recruiter. The process took 7 months. I interviewed at Trident Seafoods (San Diego, CA) in Mar 2019

      it was very quick and easy. first they introduce the company, followed by the job description that we are applying for. after a short discussion about the company and the job, they did 1 on 1 interview to each applicants. one of the recruiters asked me how did I hear about the company?, and I said from a friend who is a former employee in trident. after the interview, drug test and background check. after the drug test and background check , wait for the email that will guide the applicant for the next step(in total, It took 1 month before I received the job order. so be patient!
