I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Trinity Solar (Milford, CT) in Jan 2025
Interview
Phone call with one of the managers. Lasted about 20 minutes. Basically just seeing if you can hold a conversation and aren't a liability in the context of being in sales.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Trinity Solar (New York, NY)
Interview
Interviewed for field marketing rep otherwise called outreach. I was told it was a six figure job going door to door telling people how they can reduce their energy bill through "free" solar energy program by the state. I pointed out it cant be free and trinity solar despite the religious name is a for profit company. it kinda went downhill from there. The person who interviewed me said he was a sandwich artist at subway a yr ago which is good for him and still quite an achievement but the lack of experience really showed. The average on his team is 12 appointments that are kept per month which would put you around 40k by the compensation plan I was shown. Very far from the 100k average or the 150k top producers earn that it said in the job description. This is why it is important to ask the right questions during interviews.
