      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tripp Lite (Chicago, IL) in May 2019

      Interview

The process was straightforward and took a couple of hours. The interview lasted a couple of hours and began with the recruiter talking about the company, the job, salary, and benefits. Then a timed questionnaire was given; fifty questions to answer in 12 minutes. It was simple an complex at the same time. After the questionnaire, a sit down interview with the head of the Customer Service team you will be joining. My interview was much more conversational in tone that a traditional interview, but the manager explained that is how she likes to conduct her interviews. After the manager interview, the head of the customer service department comes in. This is more of a traditional interview, though still conversational. My concern is that the HR Recruiter/Company took two weeks to let me know that I was not going to be getting an offer. I did do a post interview follow up thanking them for the opportunity and then emailed them after a week and two-weeks of no news. It's very frustrating.
