I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at TruGreen (Milwaukee, WI) in Apr 2012
Interview
I was called after posting an online resume for a completely different field. Interview seemed rushed, as it seemed they had already decided to give me a chance based on my resume and DOT record and background check. It's basically a laborers position, so if you meet the minimum requirements they,ll hire you. After the interviews, you still have to pass a Motor Vehicle Records check, DOT physical, drug screen, driving skills test, and study for and pass a pesticide applicator exam before you can actually work on your own. 90% of applicants fail one or more of these requirements.
