I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Tutor Doctor (London, England) in Aug 2015
Interview
I was interviewed over the phone. It was actually harder than I expected. Interviewer's name was Donna and she asked me 5 questions. The main purpose of interview was whether or not you have the qualities to teach someone.
I would say patience and being a good listener is very important and the interviewer tested that by speaking a lot.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Q1: What are you 5 strengths?
Q2: What is your weakness?
Q3: What would you do if you had planned to teach simultanious equations but the student forgot how to rearrange formulae?
And two other questions of similar type which I can't remember.
One interview and was very straightforward. Asked for previous experience and what are your strengths and weaknesses. Got the offer a week later. Interview lasted about 30 minutes. Person conducting the interview was very friendly.

Question 1
What are your strengths and weaknesses? Relevant Experience?
During the interview, I completed an exam paper and answered a series of questions. The exam paper tested my mathematical knowledge and problem-solving skills to ensure I could handle the level of work required for tutoring. After the paper, I responded to several questions about my teaching approach, how I would explain difficult concepts to students, and how I would support students who are struggling with confidence or motivation.

Question 1
How do you deal with a struggling or unmotivated student?
Online Zoom interview. Since this was my first job, I was nervous, but the person who interviewed me was amiable and welcoming. They asked leading-up questions to make me feel more comfortable throughout the process.
