The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Twilio (Mount Ida, AR) in Sep 2020
Interview
I current work as a Senior Software Test engineer at my company however my wife is active duty military and she is about to be stationed elsewhere so i decided to apply to jobs where our new station will be . I was hopeful about Twilio. I applied and was contacted to take a test on HackerRank. 8 questions , 2 coding questions. Pretty straight forward and pretty easy however We were transitioning from the base so I wasn’t really settled and focused to take practice tests . Also HackerRank is not as intuitive as I hoped and as such I couldn’t find the second coding question for some reason. Either way I didn’t pass the test I was contacted that they’d be going ahead with other candidates however my overall experience was pleasant
The recruiter was exceptional and was nice in her approach. In as much as I’d like to work at this company I don’t think they’d be other opportunities for me here. I
hope they find the right candidate and I hope I find a job around our new station because I’m about to be out of a job soon. Here’s to hope!
