Bait and Switch. Not sure this position ever existed. Had two video interviews. In the second they are trying to "sell" me on a senior data scientist position. I said I was uninterested. Apparently that was not enough. They continued to contact me. In total, I had to tell them three times I was not interested in a position I didn't even apply for. The management came off as unethical and immature. Think Uber.

Do you know the role? Of course not, I didn't apply for this position.
Applied online, phone call scheduled ~ 4 weeks later. First half we talked about the current projects I work on. At the midway point the interviewer informed me their Data Science Manger position requires prior manager experience, which I had none and could have easily been looked for in my resume. The interviewer mentioned I would therefore be put on the entry level DS track. Last half of the interview went through very basic A/B test analysis. The interviewer seemed flustered when I asked about dealing with covariants in the experiment. I declined my interest.
If interested in applying to this position, mention up front if you meet the qualifications before wasting an hour on the phone screen.
