After several successful phone calls with a recruiter I was told I was being invited in for a face to face interview and would be given a date shortly. After following up on this, I was sent a generic email saying they had decided to move forward with other candidates more closely suited to the role. This was very disappointing and confusing after being told I had been put forward for interview. I asked for feedback on why they changed their mind and was not provided any.
