Phone interview with HR, 1 hr interview with hiring manager, 5-30 minute in person "final" interviews, 1 hr final final "coffee meeting". After interviewing, followed up with HR many times. Was told 2 weeks I would hear something back. Didn't hear back from HR within the timeframe they gave, so I called, left 4 voicemails, 4 follow up emails. Finally got a response saying it was going to be another 2 weeks. After that 2 weeks was up, again, didn't hear from HR, left many voicemails and follow up emails. Finally, HR responded back and said "the team has made their decision. They have decided to move forward with other candidates".
The food industry isn't that large; you can't treat candidates like this. You would assume from a Fortune 100 company that they would treat people who wanted to work for them better. Unfortunately, I will never apply for a job at this company again, and neither will any of my colleagues. The lack of awareness and respectfulness for candidate time is unreal.
