I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at U.S. Bank (Minneapolis, MN) in Dec 2010
Interview
The application was like any other application. If I met the qualifications, a manager called me for an interview. Most of the questions were about my sales background. After that, I was offered the job and received a call from HR to confirm details in order to complete a background check and get my fingerprints taken. Overall, it was an easy application process.

Question 1
A lot of the questions were based on building rapport and overcoming objections.
First, I started out with a phone interview with recruiter followed by in person interview with district manager. At the time, there was no assigned branch manager so the standard process may vary from mine.

Why should we pick you over other candidates that are applying?
I applied on the website. us bank branch manager contacted me. i made appointment for the interview. i passed the interview. next interview is with district manager. but my first language is not English. so i failed the interview. but the interview is good experience.
Asked the appropriate questions. I felt comfortable and the manager was easy going and let his expectations be known. Make sure to ask a lot of questions about the position. My previous banking experience made it easier for me.
