I applied online. Standard numerical and SJT as part of application. Was then asked to complete a video interview which I was given almost 3 weeks to complete in my own time. Video interview consisted of a mix of competency (e.g. tell us about one time where you brought change to a process) and technical (what technologies may UBS be looking at in the future). Waited 6 weeks until I was invited to an assessment centre for the following week. Spent a lot of time researching the company, what work it has done in my particular field and practising my competencies. The assessment centre was very straightforward - two 1 to 1 interviews - competency and commercial. Both interviewers were super friendly and helped me relax before commencing with questions. Standard competency questions e.g. how have you shown initiative, and commercial was more to with where you see yourself in the business. Was told that I would hear back within 1-2 weeks, but I got a call that same afternoon with a verbal offer. Was super excited and still am - very much looking forward to starting in the summer.
