I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at UBS in Nov 2020
Interview
Online application. Then Online assessments (cultural and numbers), they are particularly tougher then other IB's.
Afterwards got invited for a video interview. 7 questions, 1 minute to prepare, 2 to answer. Competency based, typical behaviour questions.
They take a look time to get back to you but I believe that is normal.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at UBS (Hong Kong) in Nov 2023
Interview
Superday consist of 2 rounds, 2 sets of interviewers, 30 mins each. Not as tech as other firms but they only accept people from BB background. If u don’t have a prior BB internship don’t even apply. Got rejected and the email from HR goes like this “understand that from XX and the team, they are impressed by your interview performance but chose another candidate with better CV background and technicals”, turns out the candidate was a prior Deutsche Bank Summer Intern that did not get a return offer. So apparently they had chose the candidate and interviewed me just for show, HR don’t even have a decency to inform me about the update. Really disappointed about UBS, all they’re preaching about DEI is all BS!
