I emailed the professor and got an interview in 2 days. The professor is very friendly, he doesn't require me to have any particular skills. He only asked if I was willing to learn new things
Asked about previous research experiences and academic background and interests. Interviewed with graduate student after filling out the interest form of the faculty research website. Smooth process overall and behavioral questions mostly
It's a ok interview. They want to know what you can do and why they should hire you. They may challenge you for some topics that you wrote on your CV. But as long you can explain it well, they will be ok.
Talking with the PI where there was a series of questions. Including research interest and how it aligns with the lab. Additionally, they were well understanding that most of us are students and arranged time accordingly with our schedule classes.
