Interview
I heard about the position because I went to school at UCSB. I applied and had an interview in which I had to teach a topic and also do the usual interview stuff. I already knew 2 of the 3 interviewers. I was told in advance what topic to teach and prepared by reading up and preparing a lesson plan. The interview process portrayed a friendly work environment.

Nothing was unexpected, I guess the teaching would have been the most difficult but I prepared so it went well.

Interview
Preliminary interview was a group interview over Skype. A week later, I was asked to interview in-person the following week (I am local). The in-person interview consisted of a teaching demonstration to faculty, students, and postdocs, with a question and answer period, as well as 6 one-on-one interviews. In-person interview included a very brief campus tour and very little information about the campus.
