It can take a while to get your application through HR to the department director’s desk, so make sure you inform the director as soon as you apply to expedite the wait time. For me it took a couple of weeks to get a call. First interview is with the director and assistant director. Then you get a second peer interview with 4-5 other employees in your department. In the peer interview they ask a couple or a few questions from each pillar of service UMC embodies. You can look up the pillars on the UMC website. They rate each response from 1-5, 1 for a poor response and 5 for an excellent, beyond expectations response. Many of the questions are centered on how you can positively contribute to UMC’s culture, so it might do you some good to read about the culture too.
