1:1 interview with the Principal Investigator. Was asked more about my background, personality, technical skills. Previous research experience and previous projects were discussed. Also, ideas and views about the current projects carried out in the lab were discussed.

No process knew the professor whom I had a class with and she asked me to help her with her research I said yes. There was nothing else to it if you know a professor and they start research they will need help
