I applied for the job via a posting on Indeed. A recruiter reached out and offered to set up an interview at 3AM in the morning with the hiring manager.
When I arrived at the interview, the hiring manager was not expecting me. Apparently, the recruiter had failed to clearly communicate the time of the interview. He still met with me and we discussed my qualifications. A couple of days later, the recruiter reached back out and said they would like to continue with the hiring process and asked for my ID to run the background check.
That was the last I heard from her. On July 4th, I received an automated reply saying that I was not being pursued for the position any further. She declined to answer any further e-mails and I have no idea why they needed my contact information if I wasn't being pursued any further. This was probably one of the worst interview experiences I've had.
