Interview
I started out by creating an account with UPS.com, and from there I browsed available job opportunities based on distance. I applied for the two nearest facilities and I set up an interview online the following day when an opening became available for me. I went in for the scheduled appointment, checked in at the front desk, and waited to be called on in a large waiting room. When I was finally called on, I waled inside the room and shook the female interviewers hand and begun the interview. It was a very short interview, mostly asking how long it took me to reach the facility from home and etc. No classic "What is your greatest weakness/strength" type of questions. She briefly went over the education assistance (available upon hire) and the medical benefits (available after a year) and finally I asked a few questions about seniority and christmas time hours and the interview was over and she scheduled my orientation/training day for the next day. I had a wonderful time at this interview,
no interview. come in for orientation and if you get into that youre hired, unless they hire too many then they select randomly from people there and tell the other to apply again.
Setup an appointment with the interviewer. Interviewed with a large group of applicants. They took us on a tour of the building during one of the shifts. It gave us an idea the job consists of and what we would be doing.
There was no interview at all. You are automatically hired and put to work within 20 mins of your first day. You have 30 working days to see and prove if you are fit for the job.
