Was promoted through a past program, ASP. Associate Supervisor Program, which has since been discontinued, was to promote upwardly mobile employees from with in or from outside. Filed application with work experiences using STAR format. Interview was what would youndo in certain situations also using STAR. Thn it was a 16 week ojt and classroom training with advisors rating job and homework. Then if passed placed into temporary assignment until a permenent opening was available to bid on.

Very smooth, the interviewer was very personable. The questions were based on everyday scenarios for any station that happens daily. I suggest if you aren’t familiar with the operation and you want to apply for a job at a station that you become very familiar with the operation, manager and staff.
