Hiring Process is long and has multiple steps. I was told I passed the polygraph after taking it but received a Better Qualified Applicant (BQA) letter two weeks later.

As a working professional I was appalled at the experience of testing with the Secret Service Uniformed Division. The first few minutes is all it takes to make a first impression as both an applicant and an agency. After arriving at the testing facility it was apparent that grooming standards were very relaxed. We were greeted by a Sergeant who clamed he was in charge of recruiting and applications. He had a orientation-like discussion where applicants were permitted to ask questions regarding the career path. The issue here was that in a professional interview setting every other word out of his mouth was an f-bomb or some other curse word. There is no room for a "potty mouth" in a professional setting. Now I know members of the general public may not always be as courteous or respectful, but professionalism should be strived for at all times. In addition to the crude language, the sergeant made the position out to be some frat boys dream job of driving fast cars and looking good in a uniform. Answers to questions about growth potential and policies were mostly brushed over. As someone who is looking for integrity, professionalism, respect, and responsibility; these core values were not apparent in the uniformed secret service in my experience.
