I applied online. I interviewed at USAN (Norcross, GA)
Interview
I had a phone interview with the HR person and then with the hiring manager. I was then brought in for a face-to-face interview with the hiring manager and a couple of others. It went well, and they said they would decide in the next few weeks. THAT AFTERNOON they started calling my references, which seemed like a good omen, albeit rather premature. I never heard from them again and had to email the HR person to find out that they were "pursuing other candidates". I know that my references were very positive. My main gripe is that they should never have wasted the time of my references when they were in the preliminary stages of interviewing multiple candidates. Very unprofessional!
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at USAN (Atlanta, GA) in Feb 2023
Interview
I was contacted via LinkedIn and asked for a phone interview. Despite reading all the negative reviews about sexism and high turnover here I went forward with it. We spoke on the phone for a bit and I was asked to send in samples, and told we'd schedule a time later in the week to do more interviews. A few days went by and I didn't hear anything. I checked in and a day later was told they went with someone else instead. This was an entire waste of time, and for a company that has very outdated ideas about tech.
