I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Uber in Jun 2015
Interview
One of the worst interview experiences ever. I applied online and received an email from the recruiter saying that I was selected for a phone screen. I scheduled an interview time and did not get a call back from the recruiter at the scheduled time. After 4 weeks of the initial conversation and multiple emails to the recruiter, I was asked to reschedule another time to speak. Once again the recruiter did not call me at the said time and then called me an hour later without any prior indication. The recruiter had no clue about my background or resume. There was too much background noise and the recruiter acted like she was doing me a great favor.
I decided not to pursue after this initial harrowing experience.

What KPIs should Uber use to measure success in a new city.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Uber (San Francisco, CA)
Interview
Lots of technical evaluations both over the phone, in person, and at home. Be prepared to show problem solving skills and ask good questions. Overall the interview is pretty easy, just be ready to negotiate the life out of your salary because Uber underpays.

I applied online. I interviewed at Uber (Shanghai, Shanghai) in Oct 2015
Interview
I started Uber applications process two last week, spoke with an HR for a basic phone screening, then completed the analytical tests on the 19th of Oct. The tests were exactly the same as many described here, but one needs to practice and brush up the speed.
I called HR on the 23 Oct. to ask what's the outcome as I did not receive anything from them for a week. Not rejection nor instructions of next steps. I was informed that they are still interviewing more candidates, and will send out emails this week. It is Thursday today (29th Oct) and still got nothing ....
Is this their way of saying no?? Is there someone else having the same experience?
Thanks
