I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Uline (Eagan, MN) in Jul 2010
Interview
I saw a newspaper ad asking for Customer Service Reps that were paying up to $17.00/hr at Uline in Eagan, MN. I applied online and received a call the very next day, asking me to come in for an interview. This was my first interview after being laid off from Delta Airlines after 24 years of customer service experience. Uline only asked for experience of 1 year of customer service. The interview only lasted about 15 minutes. The manager didn't seem to be too impressed with me. I apologized for being nervous and told him this was my first interview in 24 years. I thought it went ok, but again, he didn't seem to like me. I feel that maybe they were looking for younger people. As, I am 46 years old. He said he would call me in a few days. I then received a denial email the next day, stating that I did not have enough experience!! WOW!
The Process Involved a quick test before the interview. The Test consisted of a quick math test that was timed and a pattern recognition test that was also timed. Then you would be called off to by a representative for the interview. All in all, a pretty standard interview.
Take a numbers test then you speak with HR the questions are very basic and experience doesn’t matter I worked in customer service for 19 years I was told the candidates have to fit in with the “culture” honestly I don’t believe u would have fit in with their “culture” I had too many questions about negative reviews I read online
was really weird and everyone was acting super fake. i would say if you're trying to get someone hired, at least try to not make it known LOL. I mean come on
