I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Ulta Beauty in Aug 2014
Interview
I applied online and received a phone call about a week later to come in for a group interview. The interview was with myself and four other girls in the back area of the store. There were two managers conducting the interview. They asked us questions relating to the job. Some questions were technical, ie, did we have experience stocking and shelving. Some questions were specific to the job. For example, they asked what our favorite current beauty products were. At the end of the questions, the general manager gave a summary of the position and said we would be mainly stocking, shelving, doing inventory, etc. She also said "don't you dare ever come in here without makeup on," which I thought was a little shocking (even though I personally wear makeup every day to work anyway, it was just strange to hear that said out loud.)

Question 1
What sets you apart and makes you the one we should hire?
Applied on their website. Called me in for an interview right away. Pretty straight forward questions. No trick questions. Mostly about skills and how I was interested in the beauty industry. Called back about a week later for an offer. Accepted.
I applied online. I interviewed at Ulta Beauty (Orlando, FL) in Dec 2022
Interview
It was easy going and they were really nice. I found the interviewer to be really personable and someone who I would enjoy working with. Answers were not too difficult to answer, pretty average questions.
the interview was good, the manager was nice and the workers too ! ask me basic questions but I did not get the job due to conflicting schedules with school, but definitely seems worth it!
