There is a phone screening. Why a charter school? Why Uncommon Schools? After that is a selection day, which wasn't too difficult. You have to prepare a short presentation to pitch to prospective parents. There are some data exercises and role playing. It's a long day, there are about 7-8 interviews, almost too many sessions. It's hard to go into depth with interviewers because you have such a short time with each person. It's weird that a 7 hour interview would still feel rushed. Each interviewer gives you feedback, some of which makes sense, some of which seems like they're trying to give feedback for feedback sake. I'm glad they were up front about the long work hours which swayed me away from the position.
